Crawford Names New Chairman 

Crawford & Company has named Charles H. Ogburn as chairman of the board, to replace Thomas W. Crawford, former president and chief executive officer of Crawford & Co., who is retiring.

Mr. Ogburn, a board member, is executive director at the international investment firm Arcapita Inc.

Mr. Crawford leaves his post after 40 years in the insurance industry. He served on the board since 2004, when he was named president and CEO of Crawford. He retired from his executive role and became chairman of the board at the end of 2007.

Crawford & Co., based in Atlanta, is an independent provider of claims management solutions to the risk management and insurance industry as well as self-insured entities, with more than 700 locations in 63 countries.
