NU awards top commercial independent agencies that not only excel at sales and retention, but also are more than mere policy peddlers--serving as full-fledged risk managers for their clients.

Three winning agencies will receive national exposure and recognition:

  • Three winning agencies will be profiled in Oct. 5 cover story of National Underwriter P&C
  • The winners will take part in a roundtable discussion, moderated by Mr. Friedman, on "The State of the Independent Agent"
  • Highlights from the Roundtable will be published in the Nov. 2 edition of National Underwriter P&C

Nominations are welcome from insurers, wholesalers or other interested parties (although a nomination is not necessary for an agency to enter). To nominate a candidate, e-mail sfriedman@nuco.com (subject line: Agency Award Nomination) and describe in 500 words or less why the agency is worthy of consideration. Please include details of who to contact at the agency.
Deadline for nominations is June 8th.
