Agency Tech Innovators Sought

NU_PC_TechAward3.JPG
For independent agents, technology has become a critical difference-maker in operating more productively and cost-efficiently. To recognize the efforts of innovative agencies when it comes to technology, National Underwriter--in partnership with ACORD--is launching the inaugural “NU Agency Technology Achievement Award.”

Agents are encouraged to enter their own IT initiatives for consideration, sharing their success stories on how they creatively employ tech to grow their business, better serve their carriers and insureds, as well as streamline their operations.

In addition, insurance companies, managing general agencies and tech vendors are welcome to nominate an agency for NU to contact about entering the award program.

Three award winners will receive a free trip to the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in Las Vegas--on May 13-15, 2008--and will have their programs profiled in the May 12, 2008 edition of NU. They will also share the secrets of their tech success during a panel discussion at the ACORD LOMA conference.

For more information and to file an entry, go to www.acord.org/NUAward. The deadline for entries is Feb. 1, 2008. If you have any questions, contact NU Tech Editor Ara C. Trembly at atrembly@nuco.com.

Good luck! We look forward to your entries to learn about what the best and the brightest agencies are up to with technology.
